Welcome to NaPiRE
Naming the Pain in Requirements Engineering (NaPiRE) is a global, practitioner-oriented survey initiative investigating the contemporary status quo of requirements engineering (RE) in industry. Since 2012, NaPiRE has run recurring surveys among practitioners to identify the problems, causes, and effects experienced in RE practice, and to make the resulting data openly available to both researchers and practitioners.
The initiative is a collaborative effort of researchers from numerous countries who jointly design, translate, and administer the survey, and who analyze the resulting data to derive actionable insights for the RE community.
